Memory and Memorial Quilts

Quilts represent many things to people. Historically quilts are an ultimalte labor of love. Quilts were often designed and made as gifts for landmark events in life. Weddings, Graduations, Births, and Anniversarys.  That is why they are often cherished for generations.  Some early quilts were made from clothing. The use of clothing celebrated the people, and also events that led to the quilts creation. Long lost loved ones clothes were often added include family history.

Quiting is a labor intensive process. It is a craft that truly celebrates love and are often seen in the completed project. Sometimes we can feel the love that went into making a quilt when we wrap it around us like a hug. When loved ones are far away, quilts can give us the reassurance they are always with us.

We focus on celebrating life's memories in our quilting. We do that bytaking daily used clothing, to make a one of a kind quilt. We are often asked to incorporate parts of one's life story in our quilts. Some of these things we have been asked to use are family photos, lyrics from a favorite song, even a usuable pockets for special keepsakes.

Each quilt is special to the person it is for. We try to be sensitive to all our customers needs. We are not making it for ourselves, we are making it especally for you.
